Problem

Deleting a licence is deactivated by default to prevent a licence from being deleted by mistake. If a licence container must be deleted, then the licence can be deleted via the command prompt.

Solution

Run the "CodeMeter Command Prompt" application on the licence server.

To delete the licence use the command

cmu32 --delete-cmact-license --serial yourLicenseHere

(replace yourLicenseHere with the licence serial number).
